All we need is Answers

Universal Church members and visitors experience All Answers in Bloemfontein, Thokoza, Lenasia and Merafe

BLOEMFONTEIN

About 7,000 people gathered in the Vista Arena, in Bloemfontein for the All Answers Event. People came from as far as Thaba Nchu, Heidedal, Rocklands, Kato, Aliwal North, Sterkspruit, K-section, Batho and Brandfort to receive answers to their requests. Opening the service, Bishop Marcelo Pires told the people that their emotions would not bring forth change, but their faith would. “In the Bible God made this promise, ‘…I have come that they may have life and an abundant life.’ John 10:10.

In this verse God was speaking about us and we will know that this Word is true if our lives changes,” he said. He explained the mystery of why many people who believed in God suffered. “Human beings are made of three elements — body, spirit and soul. When a person dies, the body goes back to the soil, the spirit goes back to God, and the soul, being emotional, feels the pain. Satan knows that if he touches the soul of the person, he will shake the most important weapon which is faith, because faith is the assurance of things to come,” Bishop Marcelo said. He told the people that faith has nothing to do with what had happened in the past and encouraged them to use faith for their lives to change. He said they should always remain strong because the answers might not come instantly but they would surely come. “But my righteous one will live by faith” Hebrews 10:38.

“Those who believe, pray and read the Bible must live by faith and not by what they feel. When you follow God, worried by what you feel, you are doomed to failure. Don’t expect people to feel pity for you, because it will not change your life. What changes life and your situation is faith and if you believe, you will conquer. But if you live by what you feel, you will be a person full of knowledge, but you will fail,” said Bishop Marcelo. At the end of the service, the bishop called on people to enter into a covenant with God. He said that when they gave their lives to God, He gave His and they became One. “The covenant must be based on obedience, because if you don’t obey God, you fall short on God’s word,” he said.

LENASIA

Nearly 1,500 people attended from surrounding churches such Ennerdale, Westonaria, Lenasia South and Lawley. Bishop Marcelo spoke about the promises of God and quoted from the Bible. “Call upon Me in the days of trouble and I will deliver you.” He prayed for all those who needed God’s intervention in their situations. “People from all different nations have one common goal and that is to be happy and successful in what they do. Also for one to be successful, the foundation of life must be as strong as that of a house which is built on rocks. Therefore you need to set your mind free from doubts and fears from all the past experiences,” said the bishop.

THOKOZA

The All Answers Event was recently hosted at the Sam Ntuli stadium in Thokoza, Gauteng. More than 5,000 people attended the event. Churches such as Thokoza 1, Alberton, Katlehong 1 and 2, Paraton, and Moshweshwe were among those who came to be part of the occasion. Bishop Marcelo said, “Don’t live by how you feel, but live by the Word of God. What your feelings tell you can either make or break you. Refuse to allow them to race away with your faith because this can compromise the blessings that God wants to give to you,” he said.
