The Generals takes action

Generals’ Meetings have recently started in all areas of the Universal Church of the Kingdom of God (UCKG) countrywide

to break the curses which prevent children of God from enjoying their blessings.

In a gathering at the Cenacle of Faith in Johannesburg, attended by more than 900 people, Bishop Marcelo encouraged everyone to be prepared to fight their problems. “The Generals’ Meeting is a spiritual war. It is not for the faint-hearted but for people who are ready to fight their problems,” he said. He warned people to use their authority as the children of God, because if they did not, the devil would take charge of their lives.

In Durban, churches from different regions such as Isipingo, Kwa-Mashu, Phoenix and Empangeni gathered for their first meeting. These meetings started in February in Johannesburg and Pretoria and are now conducted at all churches throughout the country.

“When God reveals a purpose in the church, I believe it is because it is time for our lives to be blessed. I have been coming to the church for less than two months and in these meetings I’m starting to understand my purpose in life. My life has started to take a good turn,” said Doris from Bara.

“I believe this meeting is here to bring about change in our lives. The way it is conducted as well as the things we are taught are signs that we are entering the time to enjoy our blessings from God. I liked how the bishop explained their role in our lives, that they represent an army and they will go to great lengths to see us being freed from all the curses. They will be on the front line fighting for us,” said Siphokazi from Cape Town

“It is a meeting of enlightenment because it showed me how to fight my problems from their roots. I am looking forward to more of the Generals’ Meetings because I can already see where my life is heading,” said Eliza from Durban.
