When you’re moving to a new country, there are a lot of things you need to consider doing beforehand… open new accounts and close old ones, get a good moving company, pack, etc.
It can take up to one whole week of your life, including the weekend. But the end result is worth all the trouble, new place, new neighbours, and new challenges. And if you’re moving to a better place, new home sweet home! The same thing happens when we’ve decided to move on in life. Move on from a relationship, a friendship, or even the wrong kind of lifestyle. It’s a battle at first and it will take time, especially when you’re about to ‘pack’.
You need to remember to keep the good things and throw away the bad ones. When we don’t do the latter, we end up bringing junk to the new life… We can’t move on and not throw away the old things. If you’re changing your life, don’t take the grudges or the spiritual trash you used to carry with you in the old life. Decide to be free and work on being free from all of it. Trash is not to be carried over. It’s to be placed outside for the garbage truck to collect.
