A new life await you
Many people start their new year thinking of how to improve their lives. We have a few suggestions that could help…

Why start your year with us?
The UCKG is open seven days a week and holds at least four daily services. We are really happy we can be there for you, every day. Each day of the week has a theme directed at one area of your life. Check our time table to see what we mean. It’s a good idea to speak to us to find out exactly which services would be most suitable for you. But of course you’re welcome to drop in on any meeting you like.
There are a couple of meetings, however, that we would like to highlight for you.
Let us explain.
At the UCKG, our vision is to help you achieve spiritual independence. In other words, to connect you directly to God without the need of a middleman. This requires you to learn how to use your faith, how to pray effectively and to develop a personal relationship with God. The meetings which will help you with this take place on Wednesday and Sunday mornings. These meetings are not Chains of Prayer. You should see them as investing in your spiritual life. We cannot emphasise their importance too much.
We value your freedom
The apostle Paul said, “And when God is personally present, a living Spirit, that old, constricting legislation is recognised as obsolete. We’re free of it! All of us!” (2 Corinthians 3:17)
We believe God has called us to freedom, not to bondage. The best worship we can give to God is the worship that comes from our free will. Therefore, at the UCKG, you are free to make your own choices — to take part in a Chain of Prayer or not, to be a tithe-payer or not, to pray aloud or quietly, to live in sin or to live a holy life, to give offerings or not, to get involved or keep to yourself, to get baptised or not, etc. No one should put pressure on you to do anything.
You will, however, hear the Word of God preached as it is. The message will be explained to you clearly. But it’s up to you to follow it or not. Again, we take advice from Paul: “It is absolutely clear that God has called you to a free life. Just make sure that you don’t use this freedom as an excuse to do whatever you want to do and destroy your freedom.” (Galatians 5:13)
If you hear or experience anything in the church that prompts a question in your mind, speak to a pastor or an assistant without delay or call us on our Helpline: 0861 33 0320 to speak to someone.
Faith doesn’t work while we’re entertaining doubts or questions in our minds.
