The Universal Church has introduced “Therapy of Love”, a service for all those who want to build a strong foundation for their love life.
Therapy of Love” is aimed at people who are facing difficulties in their love lives, those who are single and looking for the right partners, those who are starting relationships and those who want to overcome disappointments. Services take place every Saturday at the Cathedral of Faith at 14:00.
The service is open to both single and married adults, who want to see the blessings of God in their love lives. Aware that many people face challenges in relationships, the UCKG aims to teach faithfulness, dependence on God, knowing that God is family and learning of his plan to bless them.
The pastor responsible for “Therapy of Love” services at the Cathedral of Faith said, “When one has an encounter with God, one understands better the nature of God’s plan for love and marriage.”
God said it is not good for a man to be alone. He will make a helper suitable for him, and the church seeks to bless people’s love lives,” said Pastor Masango.
A TRUE LOVE STORY:
Nomsa Gumbi met her fiancé Dan Ramaota through attending the “Therapy of Love” services. She started coming to church in 2000, and since then has been faithfully attending these services. After disappointments in her previous relationships, in October last year she met her soul mate. Their relationshipstrengthened and in January this year they got engaged.
We used to attend these services together as friends, praying for suitable partners. Little did we know that we were actually each other’s partner. In our friendship we noticed that we had a lot in common,” said Nomsa.
Many people give up on relationships because of the disappointments they encountered in their previous affairs, but these two never allowed such obstacles to stand in their way of love. “Nomsa is different from all the women I have met. She is the kind of woman that I have been looking for. After a string of failed relationships, I can now say, my heart has found a home,” said Dan.
Attending these meetings has not only taught this couple to love again, but to be patient and not to rush God’s plans.
Sometimes people want to have what others have, forgetting that God’s timing is never wrong. They alsofocus a lot on the appearance of a person rather than their character. People need to look at the heart and character of a person. God reveals only good things to those who are born of him,” said Nomsa and Dan.
