Everyone may have faith, but action is voluntary. The one who decides to act upon the vision God has given to him overcomes. You cannot sit and wait for God. Faith without action brings no results, only failure in one’s life. Look for opportunities to make your dream come true.
I acted on my faith
Life was not always good for Ernest, but that changed when he joined the UCKG. He had resigned from his job in a mine and hoped to go into business.
“A friend invited me to the church in 2000. I learned about different chains of prayers and how to use my faith for my life to change. Six years later I was able to register my transport company,” he said.
However his company could not operate because he did not have a car. Two years later he signed a contract with a government department to distribute newspapers and magazines to institutions around Johannesburg.
“I made my vow with God and I was faithful to the end.”
“I then worked with a company that gave me transport to do this work. That was a great beginning for my business,” said Ernest.
The Campaign of Israel was announced in the church when Ernest needed to buy his own transport to work. After being faithful to God throughout the campaign, he was blessed.
“The campaign was an opportunity for my dream to become a reality. I made my vow with God and I was faithful to the end. I managed to buy two Nissan trucks for my business,” said Ernest.
