In the time of Elijah, the prophets of Baal prayed for fire to come down from heaven. The reason why it didn’t descend was because they were praying to the “god” of this world.
“So they took the bull which was given them, and they prepared it, and called on the name of Baal from morning even till noon, saying, “O Baal, hear us!” But there was no voice; no one answered…”
I Kings 18:26-27 (NKJV)
Elijah also prayed and fire came down because he was on the mountain, totally assured that the Almighty God was the true God. In that moment God made the difference in Elijah’s life by fire.
This fire is waiting for your decision to turn down a life of ashes and misery. Say “no more!” Enough of crumbs!!
God did not call Elijah to embarrass him in front of the prophets of Baal. In the same way God did not call you to embarrass you before your enemies, to allow you to be scorned by society.
Do you really think that Elijah would have gone to Carmel if he had not been sure God would answer by fire?
On the 23rd September God will turn your life the right way around. Enough of a life of ashes! Enough of a life of shame!
On the day of the difference, it will be all or nothing!
