The Consecration of Bishop Frank

A surprise was in store for those who were present at the inauguration. Pastor Frank, who has been a pastor in the Church for 13 years, was inaugurated as a Bishop.

Bishops Macedo,Bira, Renato and Concalves all laid their hands on him as well as his wife and son to consecrate him.

This was a welcomed surprise for everyone in the Church as they all accepted him as the new Bishop of the Universal Church.

Bishop Bira explained that the reason for this was because the Universal Church was here to build families and raise up families that were destroyed.

Bishop Frank added that the Church is where it is today not by chance but through
perseverance. Though when it started many did not believe that it would last but the doors were open to everyone and the anointing from God made the Church to grow.

The cathedral is the answer Soweto has been looking for because the population of Soweto is huge and people need happiness, freedom and salvation. Many are in suffering and having family problems and now God has opened the doors to a new life for the people of Soweto.

Prayer for the Family

One important factor that has been at the centre of the ministry of the Universal Church, is family. In Africa especially, families have been destroyed and separated for various reasons, and it was for precisely for this reason, that the Church dedicated every Sunday to pray for the family.

All the Bishops and pastors unified their faith to pray for the families of those who were present and they asked God to bring them into the same truth that their loved ones had found.
