 I didn’t know that God can do miracles in someone’s life until I came to the Church, I didn’t believe in God and his miracles, I thought that everything I have was as a result of my strength because when I came to the Church I was married, I had a place to stay and that made me think I have everything I need. When my friend invited me to come to the Church, I told her that I am doing her a favour by coming; otherwise I am not interested in what is being done there. When I entered the door of the Church I saw that really my life was empty, I learned about the tricks of the devil and that he wants us to be satisfied with the little we have. I learned to persevere and today I saw the power of the living God, I believe in him now and that what I have is because of his glory, my marriage is more blessed and God blessed us with 5 cars and a business of transporting children to school, a taxi business and a catering business and He blessed me with a big house with a pool. I thank God for his blessing in my life, and now I know that God really exists, he gave me the peace that I never had and the joy I had been missing in my life. Happy Dhlamini - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -  I had a pain on my left side for two years; I couldn’t do anything, I could not even bend over because of this pain, this problem made things so hard for me that I couldn’t do what I wanted for my children.I tried everything to get rid of this pain but I found no solution. One day I was passing by the Church and I was given a Newspaper of the Church when I saw the testimonies I was interested and I wanted to see this power they were talking about, so I came to the church. I learned how to fight the problems that were tormenting my life and God showed his power in my life the pain left my body and today I can do what I want to do, I can bend over without a problem and I can even clean my house. Now God has blessed my whole family, they are now in the Church and they came because they saw the power of God in my life and that I can do what was once hard for me to do, I thank God for revealing this power in my life. I also suffered from a terrible headache for years, but one day I was invited to come to the Church, I never hesitated because I was looking for help. God is always showing his Greatness in our lives.
One day someone invited me to come to the Church, because I was fed up with this situation, I needed an emergency answer in my life. I have seen the Power of God in my life.  When I came to the church, my marriage was destroyed we did not have peace at home, my husband and I were fighting like cat and dog.
As a result of this situation my in-laws began to hate me. We had financial problems as he was the only one who was working so as a result of our fighting he was no longer supporting me, so I never respected him. I ended up turning to gambling, thinking that I would change my financial situation, the little money that he was giving to me I would gamble it away, and my situation went from bad to worse. A neighbour of mine invited me to the Church so I took a decision to come to the Church; I was tired of living a life that brought about no results. After learning how to use my faith in the church, and after I learned that I have to change my behaviour towards my husband, God heard my request and he blessed my marriage. I have stopped gambling, I have peace with my in-laws; and now we no longer struggle financially, I have also grown to respect my husband. My life is blessed through the Power of God. What made me stay in this Church was the fact that my life was not good, but from the preaching of the pastors I learned that there is nothing that is impossible for God. I was very sick and my daughter was also sick, I went to many places looking for a solution, but I could not find one until I met Jesus. After learning how to use my faith to fight against my situation, Jesus healed me and my daughter. When the branch in Bara was opened, we moved there and started attending in Bara. The house we were living in was not our own, but it belonged to my in-laws, I wanted God to bless us with our own house, and surely He blessed us with a house. Today we are staying in our own big house and I am happy. I thank God for everything he has done for me and my family. Ruth Suping
I came to the Church everyday from work seeking for God’s help and my healing. God strengthened me and I was healed from short breath.
I was invited to come to the church but it took some time to come, when I first came it was hard for me to understand because my mind was confused, but I kept on coming to the Church until my mind was cleared. I learned how to stand against my problem and to challenge them, and today my son is no more addicted, God healed me as well and I am no longer mentally ill. My life is back on track and God has given me the peace that I was longing for and he showed me the love that I never thought I will have. Grace Nkosi- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -  I was living a miserable life, my marriage was destroyed my husband was drinking and very abusive, I ended up with osteoporosis, arthritis of the spine, the doctors were saying that I will never be cured and that they cannot operate on me because this arthritis was in a very delicate place in my spine.They told me I would depend on tablets for the rest of my life and a collar to support my neck, everything was against me. Even financially I was miserable as I couldn’t see what I was doing with it. My neighbour invited me to come to the Church because she saw the troubles I was in. I took part in the chains of prayer for a while and I learned to use my faith to conquer all my problems. Rosemary Moloi This problem of stealing made me to end up in jail for eighteen months, my life was destroyed completely, I lost all control of my life so when I received an invitation to come to the Church I didn’t hesitate because I really needed help. The first day I came it was very hard for me to leave the wrong things that I was doing, until I took a decision to be a new person, I took part in the chains of prayer, I was baptized and God began to work in my life and on my character. Today, I don’t drink any more and people that I used to do wrong to are shocked by the transformation that has occurred in my life. I thank God for what he has done for me, because if it were not for him, I do not know what would have become of me. Ellen Nyathi My life was torn apart, I didn’t know what to do any more until I came to the Church to seek for help, and I found more than what I was looking for, peace and hope that I can be a new person again. It was not easy at first, but I learned to be perseverant and today I am a free man, I can control my life, God has blessed me so much and I stopped drinking and smoking I am a clean person and God is blessing me so much that now at work I am a supervisor and I know what I am doing with salary, I no longer waste it. I thank God for showing his power in my life. Velaphi Mazibuko- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -  I had financial problems for 10 years, I couldn’t afford my child’s tuition as she was going to a tertiary institution and this problem affected me deeply. I was working, but I couldn’t afford to support her. My highest point of suffering was when I saw other children progressing, but my child was not going anywhere. I was tired of this life that I was living, so a friend of mine invited to the Church. There was a board in the Church upon which was placed the pictures of prosperous people; I placed my hands on that board, on a picture of a graduate. And I declared within my heart that my child would be like that someday. Without a doubt, I believed in the prayer I made, and God honoured my faith in him. He opened more doors for my daughter she got many bursaries and she had to choose one which was most beneficial for her. My daughter completed her studies, and now God her with her own house and a good job. My family is now very blessed. Nomsa Tsele |
My name is Edna Vanqa from Dube, I started attending the Universal Church in 1993.
Before I came to the Church I suffered from short breath; my daughter was the one who invited me to the Church. When I would walk a long distance I would not be able to speak, and I would be out of breath.
When I came to the Church I was mentally disturbed for many years I would run away for nothing thinking that something was chasing me and my son was addicted to dagga and alcohol, my house was really destroyed with no peace in it.
Before I was invited to the Church I was drinking non stop, I could not even control my urges to drink. At first I thought I was just doing it for fun, but later my addiction took over me to such an extent that it lead me to steal at my work place. My love life was also a mess, I changed boyfriends as if I was changing my socks and I was also a liar. 
For eleven years I was a heavy drinker, I was so addicted to alcohol that when I received my salary the first place I would think of was the bottle store. I was also a chain smoker, I could smoke 40 cigarettes a day and this was my life, I never wanted any one to intervene, at that time I thought I was doing what was right.
