Growing up without a father figure and mixing with the wrong crowd led Rhulani to the bad side of life.
“The only life I knew was that of an addict. From the age of ten I started experimenting with drugs. I tried every drug I could, including dagga, dope, speed and cocaine” said Rhulani.
Rhulani told Universal News how badly he behaved towards his family. “I never wanted to be corrected by my family. I did not want to be controlled by anyone. I was always in the corrupt group at school. I was a trouble maker.
Rhulani came to the point where he desperately wanted a change in his life. “I decided to change my old ways of living and started doing the right things. When I came to the Church, I was invited to join the youth group called Universal Youth Group. I took part in their meetings and that is where I was taught how to live my life as a young man of God and how to use my faith. I want to live according to the will of God. I saw my life beginning to change and I stopped taking drugs,” he said
Rhulani’s life changed and he started to excel in his school work. “I am now at university and I am free of drugs, loneliness and depression. I am now a young man born to conquer,” he concluded.
