A step in the right direction

“I used to hear people testifying in Church about what God did in their lives through the campaigns of Israel. I also wanted to experience the same changes in mine,”

Catherine remembers. Today she has a good job, helps take care of her family and still has many plans for her future. When the Campaign of Israel was introduced, Catherine took part and made her request. She worked for a company for five years and was not happy with her salary, because it was not enough to help support her family. God answered her prayers and Catherine found a new job.

“I wanted God to give me a better job, so that I could help my father take care of us. But to my surprise, God did more than I expected. My sisters also found employment soon after and that helped us a lot. God is performing miracles in my life,” she said.

Life however was not always so good to Catherine. “I used to struggle before I came to the Church. I had to help provide for my family, even though I was just a student. This placed so much pressure on me.” The shift from student to provider took its toll on Catherine and she knew she needed help. The answer to her problems came in the form of a Church leaflet that she was given on the street.

“I decided to attend one of the services and heard people testifying about how God worked in their lives. I told myself that God knew my situation and was sure that He would do something to help me take care of my family.”

She kept on going to the Church and her faith in God grew stronger. She took part in chains of prayers and soon after graduating, Catherine applied for a job and got it.

Her dream of helping her family finally came true.
