He received an answer while in prison

Thomas wanted to achieve many things in life. At the top of the list was his dream to become rich. He wanted to be very rich and was not willing to wait. His desperation for wealth led him to befriend people who were involved in criminal activities. He believed that the only way to achieve his dream was to join his friends. However, this did not work out as Thomas planned. One day the life that he had chosen

caught up with him and he was arrested. He spent six months in prison — the longest six months of his life. He had to pay for all the wrong choices that he had made. While Thomas was in prison, people from the UCKG came to pray for them and spread the message of the Bible. It was then that Thomas decided to change his ways and give his life to God. When he was released from prison, he looked for the nearest UCKG. He learnt to use his faith and discovered the importance of being faithful to God.

He engaged himself in chains of prayer and started to see gradual changes in his life. Thomas was able to start his own business which did well and he also applied for a job to secure stability in his life. He then wanted to complete his family circle. He prayed for God to give him a suitable partner and God answered his prayer. He married the woman of his dreams and they were able to buy their own house. When the campaign of Israel was introduced, Thomas’s vision changed. He wanted to see the power of God in his life. Shortly after presenting his request to God, he was able to buy the car that he had been dreaming of, a Volvo S60.

He was also promoted at work where he had become dissatisfied with his salary and position. Today Thomas lives a full
life. He has a good job and a business which enables him to support his family. Now he knows that achieving his dreams cannot happen overnight, but would come through perseverance and faithfulness to God.
