Surviving on food from the help centre never stopped, Earnest from dreaming big.
Sanele and Ernest Cele did not allow hardship to get them down. They had faith in God. Before they were married, Sanele was a student and her husband was unemployed. He used to go to the Stop Suffering Help Centre for food in order to survive,” she said.
His situation was frustrating and led him to become addicted to alcohol. We used to stay in a two-room rented flat and we were very uncomfortable , especially when we had visitors,” said Sanele . In the Church she participated in the chains of prayer, asking God to bless her financially.
After I finished my studies I applied for a position as a nurse. Though I never got any immediate response after making my chains of prayers, I never gave up. Later God enabled me to find a permanent job as a nurse, with a good salary, and also I got married,” said Sanele.
When the Campaign of Israel was introduced, she took part in it and more doors in her life started to open. “God never failed me. I wrote my request for God to give me a baby boy. After one month I went back to the doctor believing that God had answered my request. To my surprise the doctor told me I was pregnant,” Sanele said.
God blessed our business to such a great extent that we were able to buy a 12- roomed house, four brand new cars — a Toyota Conquest, a Toyota Hilux, a Siyaya taxi and a Ford Bantam bakkie. I am thankful to God for all the has done,” said Sanele.
