Her story “My life was filled with problems. I was unemployed. Whenever I get a job, I would lose it in no time, without knowing the reason. I was forced to depend on my family for financial support. I also had no love life. I thought about becoming a traditional healer , but then I heard of the Church and I wanted my life to change. Agnes Nxumalo started to go to the church and there she took part in the chains of prayer.

“I then got a job and I began seeing my life fall into place. I also learnt that God had a greater purpose for my life and that I deserved to live a complete life. After four months of prayer I met my then boyfriend who was not a member of the church and we got married” said Agnes. She never lost faith. She continued to invite her husband to the Church which he eventually joined.
“ I continued praying for our relationship . I took part in the campaign of Israel and my request was to have a son and indeed we had a son. I continued taking part in the campaigns and I started a spaza shop that I run from home” said Mrs Nxumalo
His story
“When I met my wife I belonged to another church where I was one of the elders. I refused to go to her church because I was taught that what I believed in was right. I even gave her an ultimatum that she had to choose between me and her faith.” said Mr Nxumalo. Just a few years of his marriage, his life underwent a transformation. He became a happy family man after the birth of their son and the opportunity to build a home.
“ In 2008 I built our house and I sold the four second hand cars I had, so I could the car of my dreams. I was retrenched, but after three months I found another job as a manager.” said Mr Nxumalo. Today Mr and Mrs Nxumalo can testify to the power of faith and perseverance. Agnes Nxumalo told the Universal news that she could not qualify to buy a brand new car but through her strong faith she finally bought a brand new Toyota Tazz. “In this campaign of Mount Sinai I am taking part for God to open more doors in my life.
“I have seen, I have heard and I’m climbing again,”said Agnes.
