Dudu lived in a oneroomed shack with her boyfriend, her child and her mother-in-law, for more than six years. Her boyfriend worked as a night school teacher. His salary was not enough to cover their needs. Their financial problems made them fight a lot.
“We did not have privacy. We did not have a bed. We used to sleep on the flo
or. I never thought that one day my life could change,” said Dudu. Her friend, who saw her suffering, invited her to the church and she decided to attend because she desperately wanted help.
In the church she read the Universal News testimonies and realised that with God, her life could also change. “I took part in the chains of prayer for my finances on Mondays and also in the chains of prayer on Thursdays for my family. I asked God to restore peace in my life. I learned to trust in God and I became faithful to Him. I started to see changes,” said Dudu.
When the Campaign of Israel was introduced, she believed that her life would change. She committed herself and she asked God to open more doors for her. “Later God blessed my love life. I married my boyfriend and we have three children. My husband got a permanent teaching job and his salary is now good. We built a six-roomed house and it is fully furnished. I thank God,” said Universal News spoke to Dudu’s husband, Mphikeleli about how their life has changed after coming to know God.
“We conquered our problems through the help of God. After eight years in a stressful relationship, God performed a miracle. We got married and we are living a happylife. Up to now I have not stopped taking part in the chains of prayer and movements of faith. I am thankful for what God has done in my life,” said Mphikeleli.
