I was sick and unemployed for 10 years

Victor Ngcobo knows what it is really like to be down and out. He could not afford to take care of himself, let alone, a wife and children. For 10 years he was sick and unemployed. He felt helpless as he saw his family suffering. He trained as a traditional healer and started practising, but life continued going from bad to worse.
“I wanted to do something new in life. I was told I had a calling and that I had to be a traditional healer. I felt trapped because I did not like the way my life was going., I just did not see a way out,” Victor said. He and his partner could not even afford a place to live. What troubled him most was that he was sick and could not heal himself. He was invited to the Church by an uncle who thought that Victor’s mysterious sickness could be healed. “When I came to the Church, I found spiritual freedom. I knew that God had better plans for me than being a traditional healer. After persevering and participating in a lot of chains of prayers for healing, I was free of all pains in my body”. Victor decided to stop practising as a traditional healer and gave his life completely to God.

He married his girlfriend, the mother of his children. “I knew the power of God and there were more challenges. I still could not provide for my family which was a shame,” he said. Victor and his family lived n a shack in a squatter camp for four years, but he never gave up hope. He believed that the same God that gave him his freedom was going to bless him financially. He continued going to Church and participating in the movements, chains of prayers and Campaigns of Israel.

In 2000 he found a good job with a very good salary, enough to look after his family. In 2003 he bought a beautiful house after spending years in a shack. Today Victor can look back and smile at everything that God had given him. He now has a house and drives a BMW 320D, a car he never dreamed he could own. He has a business that is going very well. Above all he is free, physically and spiritually. Change did not come overnight. He had to pray, persist and completely trust in the power of God . “After all this time, I do not regret the decision I took one day to come to the church as God has shown his power in my life. My family is united. I have peace and freedom and I am doing well financially.

Thank you Jesus
