How to participate?

Do you have someone special in your life and you want to show them just how much they mean to you, or have you been struggling to let someone know how you feel about them? Well this is your chance to get that feeling off your chest, and let the whole know just how you feel.

Not only is this an opportunity to declare your affection to the love of your life, but you’ll also finally go on that romantic dinner you’ve been dreaming about for so long.

All you have to do is enter this competition by writing a poem or a declaration of your love to your spouse, partner or someone you admire secretly, and you stand a chance of winning a date, at the restaurant of your choice, with that special person in your life; sponsored by the Universal News.

Terms and Conditions:

• You have to write a poem or declaration of your love to stand a chance of winning the prize.
• Only 18 year old South Africans, Swatis, or Shotos may enter the competition.
• The competition is only valid in South Africa, Swaziland and Lesotho.
• The prize cannot be exchanged for cash.
• The organizers’ decision is final and no correspondents shall be entered into.
• The poem/declaration should be original and not extracted from any source.
• All poems/declarations must be written in English.
• The dinner will be sponsored by the Universal News.
• Anyone within the above mentioned regulations may enter the competition.
• If the person is single, they may choose a friend or relative to accompany them.
