Move to the side of Justice
Have you noticed how we have difficulties overlooking injustice? When we hear about news of corruption, family abuse, racial segregation, misconduct, etc. we get tremendously upset over that.
And do you know why? Because we inherit a sense of justice from our Heavenly Father! Hence as years go by, when faced with challenges, difficulties and becoming victim of some injustice, without noticing it, we allow the very same injustice to be part of our life and change in some areas to become unjust ourselves.
It is a matter of double standards imposed by an unjust world. As much as we hate injustice, we end up practising it. And though we read of God's repeatedly promised justice over 371 times in the Bible, in actual fact we can only receive it when we make a resolution to leave the side of injustice and move to the side of justice in our personal dealings.
How much justice can one claim from God if one is used to taking justice into one’s own hands and solving one's problems by applying injustice? Cheating on people, being abusive to the family, treating coworkers disrespectfully, confessing love for God but sharing one’s heart with idols, addictions, and pornography, raising false testimonies against others only to get a better position in your job are a few examples of a corrupted being. It is now time for you to make a decision in your life: justice is promised to those who fear the Lord and whenever you fear Him, injustice is not part of your life.
Make your own decision. How can you claim something that you do not practise?
But for you who fear my name, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in His wings. And you will go free, leaping with joy like calves let out to pasture. (Malachi 4:2)
And the Sun of Righteousness will shine upon your life and justice will be brought upon your case.
God bless you all
