I reunited with my father
"My father left the five of us to be raised by our unemployed mother. We became a symbol of poverty in our neighbourhood. My mother became a child-minder in order to put food on the table for us.
That was the most difficult time in my life. I developed anger and resented my father because he neglected us while I was battling with my unknown illness.
That became strenuous for me until I started attending the services at the Universal Church with my mother in 2010. A week later I went to see a doctor and for the first time I was told I was asthmatic. Last year, I called my father and made an appointment to visit him. He received me with
so much love and excitement. I told him how I felt about him over the years and we were able to sort out our issues. I now have a good relationship with him and visit him often. I am also enjoying a healthy and financially blessed life. I am working as an educator," said Faith.
