UCKG Refund and returns policy

This document sets out the UCKG refund and returns policy for all transactions conducted through the Universal Church of the Kingdom of God (UCKG.org.za) website. We are committed to ensuring a smooth experience for all shoppers and donors. Detailed below is our comprehensive return policy for clothing and books purchased from our online store, alongside our specific clause regarding the non-refundable nature of donations, all in compliance with South African legislation.

Return eligibility

  • Time frame: Items must be returned within 30 days of receipt.
  • Condition: Products must be unused, unwashed, and in their original packaging with all tags attached.
  • Proof of Purchase: A receipt or proof of purchase is required for all returns.

Non-returnable items

  • Gift cards.
  • Items marked as final sale.

Return process

  1. Initiate return: Contact our customer service team at support@uckg.org.za to initiate a return. Please include your order number and reason for return.
  2. Prepare your package: Securely pack the items in their original packaging. Include the receipt or proof of purchase.
  3. Shipping: You are responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable, or you can return it to your local Church.

Refunds

  • Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
  • If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within a certain amount of days.

Donations refund policy

The Universal Church of the Kingdom of God (UCKG) considers all donations and contributions to be an irrevocable gift, given without the expectation of goods or services in return. As such, all donations are non-refundable.

Exception for incorrect or unauthorised donations:

The UCKG recognises that errors can occur. We may, at our sole discretion, grant a refund if the donation amount was entered incorrectly, if it was an accidental duplicate charge, or if the donation was unauthorised.

All requests for a refund based on an incorrect donation must be submitted in writing within thirty (30) days of the original donation date. Refunds will be processed back to the original method of payment only.

Consumer protection

This policy is in line with the South African Consumer Protection Act, which ensures your right to return goods and receive a refund under certain conditions. For more information, please refer to the Consumer Protection Act.
