The Laws of Faith
"If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you." John 15:7
If God measured no sacrifice to give us His own Son on the cross along with all we ask for, it is, therefore, more than fair that He asks from us our all!
God measures nothing too great to give us, even if it is the most impossible thing of all. If we ask, He will give it. Nevertheless, the criteria for receiving such a marvellous promise have to be obeyed. We have to abide in God and His words in us!
God wants to give us everything we ask for, but in return, He wants us to give Him our whole life, not half of it.
Thus, when you decide to hate, to deceive, to lie, you are giving God only a portion of your life. That means your obedience to God is divided. And if you give God only a certain percentage, how is it that you can demand from God His everything?
The good news is that, if you are living a frustrated and unfulfilled life, God can change it all, but remember, He wants your whole life, not half of it.
Unlike the spirit of the devil, which will invade your life, bringing suffering, misery, and curses without your consent, God works in the opposite way. When He says "If you abide in Me..." He clearly affirms a choice that you can make, to abide or not. If you are not willing, you do not have to give God your whole life, but how can you ask for God's everything?
The laws of physics say that two objects cannot occupy the same space at the same time. Likewise, the laws of faith say that I cannot have God’s all unless I give Him my all!
That is why your life is a result of the choices you make.
Therefore, choose to obey His words and live according to His will and nothing will be impossible for you, NOTHING!
God bless you
