Reaping the fruits of faith
Being unable to further her studies after matric, Zinhle was motivated to use her faith against her financial situation. Her single mother didn't have money to pay for her studies.
"Attending the services at the Universal Church from the time I was a teenager strengthened my faith to believe in God for what was impossible for me. I was not discouraged by the fact that I could not further my studies. Instead I looked for a job that would be a stepping stone for me realise my dream of having a career.
I started getting part-time jobs in clothing factories and I continued attending Monday services where I was encouraged to trust God even more. One of the clothing companies that I worked for offered me financial assistance to study for a bachelor's degree in human resources," said Zinhle.
She completed her course four years later and found an internship in her field of study before she was permanently hired a year later. She dated Sibonga whom she married after five years.
"I managed to buy myself a Renault Kwid and found a well-paid job. My faith in God changed the impossibilities for me. I am now enjoying financial freedom and am happily married," she said.
